Unbreakable Success Podcast: Episode 26

Succeed at the impossible…

Bryan has quickly become one of those people that I'm grateful to know. We share a great conversation here in episode 26 of Unbreakable Success where he was able to succeed in a variety of challenges that seemed impossible at the time. We discuss his ability to lose over 100 pounds, running a marathon, becoming a vegetarian, defeating depression, and supporting his family when he thought he may lose his wife to an illness.

Any one of these challenges might have seemed too much, and with good reason. However, Bryan was able to adopt and take action on a philosophy that completely transformed his outlook on life. That philosophy was the beginning of his Do A Day journey.

One of the most important things I learned about succeeding at his philosophy is that Do A Day is very different from the commonone day at a time” cliche that we've all heard before. Bryan is very specific about the fact that Do A Day is a practice of taking intentional action to create a powerful daily outcome, without the burden of the past, or trepidation about an unknown future.

Bryan Falchuk. Succeed at the ImpossibleAll we have is right now. When we embrace the awareness of now, and act on what we're capable of doing in this moment, those big challenges get chunked down to manageable actions of the present day.

A perfect example of this was Bryan's self-described obesity. He needed to lose weight, but he knew that the idea of losing 100 pounds was an impossible task. No one wants to think about taking on such a huge burden. Instead, he developed a better idea. He knew that he could do a day. Just one day. He could change his habit for one day with the intention of losing 1 pound. No more.

So he structured his day with the strategy of losing a pound. Then, he did the same thing on the following day. He did this without concerns about how long it would take to lose 100 pounds, or where he slipped up the day before, or what might happen the day after. He simply became committed to the moments he was creating.

He developed the habit of challenging himself to a single day of action and excellence. Something we're all capable of achieving.

I'm glad to have the opportunity to introduce you to Byran. Please make sure you grab a copy of his book, visit his website, and thank him for sharing so much with us.
